Tura New Music says
Tura New Music, in association with Perth Theatre Trust and in collaboration with JOLT Arts, presents the second concert in the 2016 Scale Variable New Chamber Music Series: Scattered Experiments - a program of engaging, theatrical and virtuosic performance. Pianist James Hullick and percussionist Louise Devenish activate the State Theatre Centre's Studio Underground with a double bill of new and experimental percussion repertoire and a powerful sonic art performance.

PROGRAM
Part 1: Experimental Music for One Percussionist
Premiere works by Kate Moore, Cat Hope and James Hullick.
Explorations in the sonic, visual and electronic arts converge as the definition of a percussion instrument and its performance practice is interrogated.

Part 2: Scatterman
Blending the barrier between sound, art and theatre, Scatterman explores the mindset of a man in his 40s going through a post relationship break-up psychosis. Highly original, evocative and engaging.
