The Justin Walshe Folk Machine

Mixing the best elements of folk, bluegrass, and Americana into a uniquely Folk Machine sound, filtered through the dead dry arid Western Australian sense of humour, which is at the absolute core of their work, the Folk Machine is a heaving acoustic storm of bluegrass instruments spun round impeccable storytelling.

Their third album, Small Tales Vol. 2 was released to a sold out room in Fremantle in Feb 2016 and has already received rave reviews including 4/5 stars from Themusic.com: “each song is a killer, packed with gorgeous, effortless melodies, thoughtful lyrics and a mood that’s seriously immersive.”

They’ve played festivals all around the country, received national airplay and critical acclaim for their last two albums, been nominated for numerous WAMi awards and are considered to have one of the best live shows around.

Rory Faithfield

Rory Faithfield is now a resident of South Western Australia after many years based in Ireland and currently promoting his 5th album ‘Southern Cross Northern Skies’.

Performing solo with acoustic guitar, harmonicas and a loop station, Rory has mesmerised audiences and critics alike. Bruce Elder stated, “Faithfield inhabits the same rich musical world as Christy Moore, Luka Bloom and Glen Hansard. His songs are wistful, romantic, deeply felt, beautifully crafted and sung with a voice that pours sincerity and emotion over every line and note”.
