Hey Zoukmaniacs!
Here is what you have been asking for!
We undertand that it has been very hard to go to The Game after a day of work and an evening of classes, so it would be much easier if we could just stay at JRDA and dance right? So, that is exactly what we will be doing every Thursday from now on!
-- What is happening??
from 9:30pm until about 10:15pm we will have a 'Practica - Feedback and Drilling Session' and then from 10:15 until 11pm we will have a mixed 'Practica and Social'
-- But why??
We need to provide an environment where the students can get feedback, corrections and time to practice what they have been learnign in class and that is what the Practica is for! So, as you feel more confident with your knowledge then you can migrate to the 'Social Dancing' which is a bit more challenging.
-- Practica?? Feedback and Drilling Session??
During this time of the evening all instructors will be available for feedback, corrections and any help you need with the material that you have been learning in your classes. So, make sure you stay after class and ask away as many questions as possible and get your dancing to the next level!
-- Social Dancing??
This is the time where you can dance away and put into practice what you have just been drilling during the Practica Session. Make sure you dance with as many different people as possible, as this will make your dancing improve faster!
-- Do I need to pay??
If you are currently enrolled in any JRDA Zouk Class, no you do not need to pay. If you are not enrolled, then you will need to pay/contribute $5 to help us with the running costs (DJs, Cleaning, Bills...etc). There will be a box at the entrance, and you can depoist your $5 there =D
