“PhilAesthetic: 40 Years of Collecting African Art”

Part of the African American Museum in Philadelphia’s 40th-anniversary celebration, this two-gallery exhibition highlights items from the collection that it has amassed over the years. The exhibit includes works on paper, mixed media, sculpture and paintings, many of which were created at the height of the Black Arts Movement.
