The National Constitution Center invites you to join a special program with Constitution Center President & CEO Jeffrey Rosen to discuss the heroic acts of the Freedom Riders and the tensions between the civil rights movement of that time and the Kennedy administration.

Rutgers University professors Charlene Mires and Wayne Glasker will join Freedom Riders Rev. Reginald Green and Dion Diamond for a lively conversation featuring video from Freedom Riders – the third installment of PBS's "Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle" film series exploring the civil rights activists who in 1961 challenged segregation in the American South.

** Admission is FREE, but reservations are recommended. Call 215-409-6700 or order online. **

Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the Constitution Center’s new exhibition, Creating Camelot: The Kennedy Photography of Jacques Lowe, directly following the program.
