Bayside formed in the winter of 2000 and developed a quick following with their melodic, moody, guitar-driven emo. Working once again with producer Shep Goodman and his regular collaborator Aaron Accetta, they set themselves to writing their best album yet, taking elements from all of their previous releases and further honing their distinctive sound. Heavily inspired by a tumultuous year in Raneri's life in which he lost his grandfather, stepfather, and stepbrother, got married, had his first child, and built his first home, the album, eventually titled Cult, was released in 2014 through Hopeless Records.

Comprised of vocalist James "Buddy" Nielsen, guitarists Dave Miller and Garrett Zablocki, bassist Michael Glita (former percussionist for Tokyo Rose), and drummer Dan Trapp, the New Jersey outfit Senses Fail developed a slick amalgam of post-hardcore chuggery and emo heartbreak that recalled such fellow New Jersey-based groups as Saves the Day.

New Jersey-based emo-pop players Man Overboard carry the flame of melodic, energetic, hardcore-influenced Garden State bands like Lifetime and Midtown.

Seaway is a pop-punk band of 5 friends from Oakville, ON Canada who play the music they grew up on and continue to love. Influenced by Blink-182, Sum-41 and New Found Glory, they aren’t trying to re-invent the style but instead push it forward.
