Time Out says

The NAACP Youth and College Division which has evolved since 1936 has recently launched the "I Matter" Campaign, which will focus on “community safety by addressing police brutality and the problem of gun violence.” With the recent launch of this campaign, The Pennsylvania State Conference Youth and College Division plans to engage the community by implementing several programs. The first activity will be a Town Hall meeting. As an important issue within in our communities, we are inviting you to attend our Town Hall on February 25, 2014, at Discovery Charter School. This first town hall meeting sponsored by the State Conference Youth and College Division at 6:30 pm. In sponsoring this event, the youth and young adults of Pennsylvania hope the community will join them in seeing this as a viable platform whereby they can address concerns involving the criminal justice system, gun violence, police brutality, and community engagement. In supporting the I Matter Campaign and Town Hall meeting, please spread the word on social media using the #IMatter and #PhillyLivesMatters hastags. We look forward to seeing you there.
