Skill Building & Networking Gathering: Facilitating Like A Pro

Ever attended a great training and thought, “I wish I could facilitate like that?” OR have you sat in a meeting that went nowhere and thought, “Someone needs to take charge and move things along!” This gathering will explore tried and true techniques to improve your confidence and skill as a facilitator. We will discuss how to deal with ambiguity and how to engage even the most reluctant participants. This gathering is geared toward people who want to practice their skills and receive constructive feedback. We welcome those who have had little or no formal facilitation training. Cost: $20 in advance; $25-30 sliding scale at the door; $15 for students (with ID) and TBDG Train-the-Trainer alumni. Pizza will be provided.
