SSMF will highlight multimodal projects during two days of screenings and discussions showcasing film, soundscapes and recordings, blogs, websites, eBooks, animation, photographs, installations, and other media forms. This year's theme is Performing the Digital.

Registration is free and open to the public.

FEATURING

RA'ANAN ALEXANDROWICZ
Writer and director of award-winning films James' Journey to Jerusalem, The Inner Tour, Martin and The Law in These Parts.

ANNA GRIMSHAW
Associate Professor in the Graduate Institute of Liberal Arts, Emory University. Author of several iconic visual ethnography texts including The Ethnographer's Eye: Ways of Seeing in Modern Anthropology.

JENNY PERLIN
Teacher, film maker and multi-media artist based out of New York City and Philadelphia. Creates experimental film projects on 16mm film and digital video combining live-action, staged, and documentary images with hand-drawn, text-based animation.

BETTY YU
Film maker, multi-media artist and activist. Exhibited The Garment Worker installation at the Tribeca Film Festival's Interactive Showcase in 2014.
