12 Noon
Meet in Schenley Plaza

Our addiction to burning fossil fuels to drive the capitalist economy is causing a climate crisis. From dramatic weather events like Hurricanes Sandy, Rita, and Katrina to droughts in California and rising sea levels, working class people and people of color are bearing the brunt of the impact of climate change.

Pittsburgh is home to some of the world’s worst climate criminals, and home to some exciting projects aimed at slowing the climate crisis and building resilient communities. During this year's Bike Fest, Join Three Rivers Rising Tide for a tour of some of Pittsburgh’s worst climate criminals and some of our most exciting climate solutions. We’ll also let you know how you can get involved in exciting actions this fall to confront the capitalist system that’s fueling climate change.

Meet at 12 noon on Sunday, August 23 at Schenley Plaza (corner of Forbes and Schenley in Oakland). The ride will last about two hours. We’ll maintain a comfortable pace for riders of all abilities and we will make periodic stops at sites around the city.
