Pittsburgh Glass Center says
After a stunning and successful first run of Lifeforms in 2013, we’re doing it again. “Lifeforms 2016” will showcase the best biological glass models made in the spirit of the famous 19th and 20th-century models of invertebrates and plants made by the father and son team, Rudolf and Leopold Blaschka. For more information, visit www.glasslifeform.org.

Free open house featuring heat defying acts of art including live glassblowing demonstrations and a contemporary glass art exhibition. Fun for the entire family.

An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be onsite to welcome visitors and narrate the glassblowing demonstration. The schedule for our ASL interpreter includes:

6pm - Welcome to Pittsburgh Glass Center in the lobby

6:15pm - Explore the current exhibition in the gallery

6:30pm - Watch a glassblowing demonstration in the second floor hot shop
