Artists in·car·cer·ate-ed

EXHIBIT OPENING
SATURDAY - APRIL 16, 2016 at 4 pm to 9 pm
EXHIBIT ENDS - APRIL 30, 2016

Alexander Salazar Fine Art will not receive any financial profit from this exhibit - 25% will be donated to Houston Victims Fund in Memory of his Father Ramiro Salazar Sr.

In 1991- Art Dealer Alexander Salazar witnessed his father get shot in the head by a 16 year old and 14 year old in front of his home in Houston, Texas. Although hate and anger was immediately part of his life, years later, forgiveness and understanding made better sense and his life changed and eventually went to finish his education in Art and Religion at Harvard University. This exhibit is Alexander's hope to expand his journey and reach out to artists in prison that have passion but unfortunately their journey includes prison.

"In healing my pain, I am reaching out to those that have caused pain but that also might be able to give back to the victims assistance funds in their community - and an artist is an artist - regardless if you are incarcerated." Alexander Salazar - Art Dealer - Recipient of Victims Assistance Funds

God bless. Let's heal through art.
