Labrador Rescuers of San Diego says
Labrador Rescuers has supported the Carlsbad Marathon for over 4 years by staffing the primary water station at mile 5 (outbound) and mile 21 (inbound to the finish line).

Labrador Rescuers was formed in 2004 to specifically rescue the stray, abused, abandoned and unwanted Labrador Retriever and Lab mix. We are one of the only Labrador Rescue groups that seek out those animals in need of medical care.

The picture of the black puppy is Appollo who recently underwent surgery for a rare congenital heart defect and a malformed valve. His prognosis is good now, but it was a very poor prognosis before surgery. Appollo is 8 months old and was looking at 1 year life expectancy. This is just one of many examples of how Labrador Rescuers makes a difference in the lives of the dogs we rescue.

Please support us so that we can continue with our mission and keep saving dogs like Appollo.

We are a certified 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for your support.
