The festivities begin with March 14 “Taste of Louisiana” events at Bluewater Grills in Newport Beach, Redondo Beach, Tustin, Temecula and Phoenix, Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill on Coronado Island, and at Bluewater Avalon on Catalina Island, that combine California-inspired versions of Redfish, Gumbo and Crabcakes with specialized drinks designed to bring out the flavor and turn up the heat. Also featured are Bluewater Grill Oysters Rockefeller. The cost of the March 14 pairing event is $29.95 per person, and reservations are required for seatings beginning at 6:30 p.m. Bluewater chefs and servers will be available at each restaurant to discuss the culinary and recipe possibilities of Cajun and Creole cuisines.
