Hey Guys!

Please join me for the kick off of my West Coast Summer Tour on 6/7 at Mother's Saloon in Ocean Beach, Sandiego, CA.

Looking forward to seeing you there, catching up with old friends & new!

Here's a sound bio of mine-

Singer-songwriter/ Alt Rocker Courtney McKenna's latest musical effort is titled Infinite Sound: a collection of songs that chronicles a young woman finding her place amongst an intense landscape of endless hustle and a fierce creative scene that floods the streets of New York City.

In true psychedelic style, Courtney guides her audience through perception shifting lyrics as she weaves a tapestry of sounds and emotions during her set. In the pop-rock song "Afterglow", her soulful vocals resemble that of Chrissy Hynde & The Pretenders. In other songs such as “On the Fence” she sings in a whimsical falsetto voice reminiscent of a young Joni Mitchell. Courtney's playing style echoes that of Spanish guitar with a fusion of 60's surf /Brit-rock.

As a prolific songwriter and poet, Courtney has created a volume of original material that allows for each of her performances to be unique. You may connect with the dark and haunting lullaby sounds of "In The Garden" or resonate more with the seductive and sexual undertones of her song, “Creatures”.

Embarking on her first official musical tour this Summer, she is no stranger to the performing arts world.

As Infinite Sound, some highlight performances of hers include:

“A Revolutionary Woman” Podcast at Bowery Poetry
“Spill Space” Psychotherapeutic Movement at Otion Front Studios
“Fonda Chilena” at Lord and Taylor organized by the Government of Chile
Catch Courtney McKenna Live beginning June in her 2017 West Coast Tour that will take her from Los Angeles, CA to Seattle, WA with stops in between in Hollywood, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and San Diego!
