I met Shaun at a networking meeting while he was the speaker. He shared with us the power of LinkedIn and how we could leverage it in our charity or business. I was so taken by what he was talking about and how passionate he is about helping people figure out how to use LinkedIn that I hired him to teach me how to use LinkedIn. We worked together intensely for several days and he helped me work on my profile and helped me learn the ins and outs of LinkedIn and how to use it to my advantage. He encouraged me along the way so I would continue working on LinkedIn to build my database. The featured nonprofit for this meeting is Girls With Goals. Are you a charity that is interested in being featured at one of our future meetings? Please contact Lynda West at Lynda@alms.productions. You will have 10 minutes to share with the audience your charity's mission. It's time to step up to the plate and share your mission with others. The time is NOW!! Come early to enjoy light bites until 6:30 p.m. (provided by alms productions, LLC) while meeting like-minded individuals who love to give back to the community. You should leave this meeting feeling energized and ready to make a difference. Intention The Nonprofit Speaker Series meetings are intended to bring together people who run or work for a nonprofit, people who want to start up their own nonprofit, businesses who help/contribute/fundraise for nonprofits and volunteers. Our mission is to educate the nonprofit community on how to grow and become sustainable through a series of talks by experts from various industries who are currently working in their field. Next meetup is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mission Valley Resort, 875 Hotel Circle South, San Diego, CA 92108, with Lauren Keith, Ph.D., of Life Mastery Institute. Dr. Keith with talk about Getting Clarity on Your Nonprofit Calling. Having clarity is very important in order to ensure you are getting your message across to donors in the best way possible. I don't know about you, but I love being around positive and energetic minds and that's exactly what you will get with this group. Thank you for bringing your positive energy to this incredibly giving community. Without you, it would not be the same.
