Impolitic: Mo' Money, Mo' Problems says
When was the last time you had a good political conversation?

One where you stood up for what you believe in, acknowledged what you don't know, and maybe even learned something.

If the answer is "never," you're not alone.

If you're tired of having the same screaming match over and over, tired of not being heard, or just tired of saying "I stay out of it," join San Diego’s most guffaw-worthy improvisers to laugh, learn, and listen.

Join comedians as they interview policy experts and perform scenes that illustrate, expand on, and poke with a stick the conventional wisdom of the political circus. This month we're digging into campaign finance and money in politics. Because there is a lot of it and it's starting to kind of freak us out. We'll hear from Jeanne Brown, League of Women Voters, and Chad Peace, Independent Voter Project, to get the real deal on where all that money comes from, where it goes, and why.

Throughout the evening, guests are invited to turn their chairs away from the stage and toward one another for facilitated dialogue inviting them to share their own experiences, knowledge, opinions, values, and questions.

Together, we're changing the way San Diego talks politics (or at least drinking beers across party lines).
