We are happy to announce our Black History Month program, “@SPACE FOR THE ARTS 2016". (Free to the public). It will feature works from the late and notable artist, Jihmye Collins who was also a community leader and activist, works from local artists, and Ade Adeyemi; the curator and an artist whose work draws inspiration from African, African American and American Pop cultures.
The opening reception for the exhibit is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 21th, 2016 and is free to the public. We welcome all to an afternoon of community building with local leaders, spoken word, musical performances, and Helix High School student participation. “@SPACE FOR THE ARTS 2016" runs through February and closes at the months end.
