Cultivate a calmer way of skiing by taking a yoga on snow class.
It feels typical of swanky ski resort St Moritz that it should be the first in the world to create a piste where skiers can practise yoga. Either head there on your own or join Suvretta Snow Sports in a Yoga on Snow group class which aims to enhance your experience of skiing by making you slow down and approach it in a calmer manner – not something for speed demons then. Eight different yoga exercises can be practised at four fixed points along the piste, from the Om to the Warrior pose with some sun salutations and snow angels in between. You may get some funny looks but hopefully you’ll be a happier, more relaxed skier as a result.
