World famous annual competition which aims to discover and support new dancers

Created in 1973, the Prix de Lausanne is an annual international competition which aims to discover, promote and support new dancers aged 15-18. Some of the world’s most prestigious dance schools and companies, such as the Royal Ballet School of London, the School of American Ballet in New York, and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, are associated with the competition and there are various events open to the publich during the week of the competition, as well as a photo exhibition on the Grand-Pont until Feb 8.
