We have just got back from our ghost bus tour. We had a fab time, and found it informative, and really amusing! The actors were really good, and they made us chuckle lots! I would do it again.
Who you gonna call?....Ghost Bus Tours!
If you’re idea of fun is paying through the nose, to witness what can – at best – be described as a 6th Form College Amateur Dramatics Bun Fight, then this tour is most definitely for you. Whilst a good “theoretical concept” the Ghost Bus is weak, at the most basic level. Quite simply, its just badly executed & isn’t funny, scary, or even that informative. One could learn more about London’s macabre from staggering the street drunk (which would be money better spent). Give it a wide birth... A very wide birth... Unless you’re an American tourist, 11 years old, Looking for someplace safe drop acid, or just plane thick!
Went on the Ghost Bus Tours last friday night, it was brilliant!!! I went with a group of friends, 2 of whom lived out of london. We wanted to do a tour during the day, but they did not arrive till late so we decided last minute to do this as it was an evening tour. I am so glad we did!!! We visited lots of london landmarks and London is so beautiful at night, they looked stunning all lit up! I would definitely recommend to adults, kids, grandparents alike! Must make a special mention to the conductor who we all found hilarious!
I agree with Summer, a waste of money.
I am sorry but I would have to totally disagree with your comments. I have been on the tour twice, once with my husband and three children and we enjoyed it so much I arranged for my department to have its summer event on the Ghost Bus. I found both actors playing the conductor (we had different actors on each seperate occasion) brilliant! They totally mesmorised the audience. I did not know ANY of the tour information, but then again I didn't search Tower Bridge websites before I got on the bus. It is my sons birthday at the beginning of December and we have decided to hire the bus for his 8th birthday, as both my boys loved it. I would not hesitate in recommending this tour to adults and kids, it was funny, scary, informative and different. 5 stars!
I did this on Friday. I was so disappointed. It was absolutely rubbish. Even though it cost a whopping £18 I was tempted to get off after 15 minutes. The main presenter was marginally interesting and humorous (only marginally), but this was ruined by a second 'actor' who ran up and down the bus grunting. There seemed to be no script so they just repeated 4-5 lines over and over... for one hour 20 minutes (the length of the tour). It wasn't scary, even for little ones; it wasn't funny, and it wasn't even very interesting - most of what the presenter told us I recognised from the websites of Tower Bridge etc. It wasn't all bad - at times there was dry ice and a 'seance', but the good bits could have been condensed into a decent 12-minute tour rather than a very poor and disatisfying 80. I feel cheated.
