Included are works by Cecil Beaton, Lucian Freud, Andy Warhol, Annie Leibovitz, Gilbert and George, and Gerhard Richter.

This was a limited, dull and disappointing exhibition. The entrance charge was not justified. even though it was considerably less than the usual charge. it is sad that the National Portrait Gallery did not find a more imaginative way to present portraits of the Queen in this jubilee year
