The Great Gorilla Run 2011

Participants in hairy gorilla suits take part in a seven-kilometre race around London's streets to draw attention to the need to protect the last 700 mountain gorillas that remain in the wild and raise funds for community projects in areas around other endangered gorilla habitats. Registration is essential to take part, but spectators can line the route which takes in Tower Bridge and the South Bank.
