This self-guided walk celebrates the 300th anniversary of Queen Anne's 1711 'Act for Building Fifty New Churches' and takes the form of a 'baroque church crawl' a little over 17 miles in total, running from Greenwich to Westminster and linking 12 of London's finest baroque churches including Christ Church Spitalfields, St Anne's, Limehouse and St John's Smith Square. The route is set out in a limited-edition guide book, which is written and produced in an eighteenth-century style, using street names as they were in 1711. Once you've bought the guide, you are free to walk all or part of the route. Proceeds go to the National Churches Trust 1711 Fund. See the website for details of how to purchase a guide.
