Not to rain on anyone's parade, but ITV have shown the full version of "The Shining" back in 1991, so it has been shown, perhaps not in the cinema, and is available on region 1 dvd.

The charity MediCinema who put cinemas in hospitals are showing a never before seen cut of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining at the special Warner Bros screening room. Theres also an exhibition of items from the Stanley Kubrick archive and a drinks reception.
