Time Out says Rate it

An exhibition, formerly on display at the Marx Memorial Library and Congress Centre, marking the twenty-fifth anniversary of events in January 1986, when Rupert Murdoch's News International group moved production of its four national newspapers to Wapping and more than 5,000 production and clerical workers were sacked overnight. While journalists were not sacked, more than 100 - the 'Refuseniks' - took a stand on principle and walked out of their jobs. The exhibition presents images and accounts of the dispute through pictures, leaflets, posters and memorabilia.
