The Shakespeare Olympics begin April 22 at the Globe

London Live is a series of outdoor screenings of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, in Hyde Park, Victoria Park and Trafalgar Square. In Hyde Park, large screens show live coverage of the Olympic Games; there are also concerts and other entertainment. Between July 28 and August 11 screenings are free for anyone wishing to turn up on the day (subject to capacity), with guaranteed early entry tickets available in advance (up to four tickets per person; £3.50 per booking). The opening and closing ceremonies on July 27 and August 12, which feature special 'Celebration Concerts', are ticketed events. The headline act for the closing 'Celebration Concert' in Hyde Park is Blur, with support from The Specials and New Order (£55 plus booking fee). On August 4 and 7 the site opens early as the women's and men's triathlon events are taking placein Hyde Park (guaranteed entry tickets are available online). See the website for updates.
