The innovative summer sculpture park returns for its ninth year a top of the disused Peckham car park.

This year conceptual sculptor Richard Wentworth takes over the top level of the multi-storey car park with an installation that draws you eye down from the amazing skyline views towards your feet. In addition, London-based independent curator Attilia Fattori Franchini has commissioned collectives AIRBNB Pavilion and Metahaven to create new works on level seven and eight. Each will adapt their practices to work within the unique space of the car park: AIRBNB Pavilion will bring the domestic into the urban location while Amsterdam-based Metahaven create a special collection of garments that respond to escaping our history.

There's only a couple more weeks to go to catch Bold Tendencies, so get there quick! The top three levels of Peckham multi-storey car park have been transformed into art installations which are worth a peek before summer is out. On the first level you have Metahaven, a collection of glass squares, some with small ant hills of paint powder piled on top and some with accessories and clothing behind the glass, printed with social media communications and symbols. After this comes the AirBnB pavilion, creating the illusion of a house within the car park with a great and entertaining light installation made out of AirBnB reviews. Lastly comes Richard Wentworth's Agora, a river of silvery aluminium paint running across the vast top floor of the vacant car park. I've never been a big follower of installation art but these pieces are modern, interesting, engaging and fun to study. Combined with the fact that you have both Ali Baba's snack bar and Frank's to serve you refreshments during and after your exploratory art experience and you have THAT amazing panoramic view of London, this is definitely a unique London experience to catch this summer.
