Magnum photographer Jim Goldberg's talent is formidable but in this exploration of the world's less privileged inhabitants his political nous doesn't keep pace with his artistry. The wonderful, tricksy Thomas Demand has chosen to show only one (large-scale image 'Heldenorgel' (Heroes' Organ), a recreation of the instrument in a Bavarian village near Demand's childhood home. Glossy photographs aglow with uncomplicated colour and a trio of mesmerisingly boring films are Elad Lassry's contribution, a decent selection but one that suffers by comparison with the somewhat similar Roe Ethridge, who wilfully ignores the barrier between commercial photography and art and whose flawless images laugh at our obsession with perfection.
