An exhibition in the Sunley Room centred around Titian's first major commission, 'The Flight into Egypt' (early 1500s), on loan from the Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg. The show looks at the creation of this ambitious work, painted when Titian was a teenager, and demonstrates how he adapted ideas from other artists by showing more than 20 works by Titian's Venetian contemporaries including Bellini, Giorgione and Sebastiano del Piombo.
