I found this short film lurking in a dark corner of Cannes earlier this year. It could be clumsily labelled as "experimental" but it is far more palatable and intrigueing than that. It is beautifully shot on Super8 film and features a mind rattling soundtrack that strophes and antistrophes before pumelling your senses into a rapturous oblivion. Recommended!

The former World War II bunker will provide just enough Goosebump atmosphere for the screening of James Batley's new super-8 film that explores subconscious rituals.
