The Royal College of Art's annual fundraiser returns with its sale of postcard-size artworks.
For ten days in the RCA's Dyson building in Battersea, you'll be able to view over 2,000 postcard-size works all priced at £55 by artists and designers from students to famous names. So what's the secret? Well you wont know who the work is by until you've bought it on the sale day (Sat Mar 21). Postcards have already been received by Bob & Roberta Smith, Maggi Hambling, Zandra Rhodes, Susan Hiller, David Bailey, Yinka Shonibare, Ryan Gander, Paula Rego and Joseph Kosuth. To celebrate its twenty-first anniversary, Stewarts Law RCA Secret have also added a new collaboration by inviting twenty-three international curators to each commissionthree artists to make work for the sale.
Viewing takes place online and at the gallery. Postcards go on sale on March 21 on a first-come, first-served basis – visitors can buy a maximum of four cards each. You'll need an RCA Secret collector's number to purchase a card. To register as a buyer visit www.rca.ac.uk/secret.
