Time Out says

The socially engaging work of this conceptual artist that redefined the terrain and purpose of British art in the ‘60s and 70s with his projects about working and living enviornments, has been receiving renewed interest of late. This archive exhibition in the Pat Matthews Gallery focuses on Willats’s show at the Whitechapel in 1979, which included work with the residents of Ocean Estate in Tower Hamlets, then Europe's largest scoial housing scheme.
