Father Christmas’ Magical Grotto
Last year Chiswick House opened for the holidays for the very first time with the lavishly theatrical Georgian-style celebration Twelves Days of Christmas. For 2026 it’s clearly scaled back its ambitions a little, but the magnificent Neo-Palladium pile will nonetheless open for the season again with a more modest but still very much happening series of workshops, theatre shows and (of course) a grotto. Father Christmas’s Magical Grotto is a 30-minute experience that you’ll potentiall share with a small number of other people, but you’d better believe that individual photos and a present for every child are in the offing.
