Explore the livelier side of science at this free two-day festival involving robots, brains and superbugs

Imperial College London is inviting us all in to find out more about their research and work, and providing hundreds of scientists for us to quiz about it, with their annual festival of science and engineering. The full programme is available on the Imperial Festival website, and you can expect dozens of talks, activities, performances and installations. Highlights include the chance to see cutting-edge medical imagery in 'Dr Superman's X-Ray Vision' exhibition; have a go in a flight simulator; explore the hands-on robot zone; marvel at the Science Museum's giant bubbles; and find out what's in your wee. All ages are welcome and all events are free.
