This wine bar, cocktail joint and café on Commercial Street boasts three floors and an outdoor terrace, so there's plenty of space for east London's finest to make this their home.

The ground floor café and bar offers brunch and lunch at the weekends, plus tapas every night from Wednesday to Sunday.

Phil's Bar is on the first floor, and serves up snacks and drinks - best enjoyed on a leather Chesterfield by the fire. The basement is where things get down and dirty later in the evening, with DJs keeping the party going.

The drinks selection ranges from wines, beers and classic cocktails to signature creations such as a raspberry ginger mojito, a rhubarb martini or a Bitter Collins - a mix of gin marmalade, lemon, sugar syrup, pink grapefruit and soda.

Popped in for a post dinner cocktail and was pleasantly surprised by this place! The barman was very friendly, delivering our drinks to the table. They were both delicious with some interesting flavours. The front was open with seating outside for people watching (if summer actually ever arrives) and there is an upstairs bar available for hire, happy days!

We had the chance to arrive very early as they were taking the chairs off the tables, and sat outside facing the sun, it was the perfect spot to get a little tan. Cocktails are good and well served. But what was definitely outstanding is the staff, they were missing ingredients for a cocktail we ordered and even if they went shopping for these, they insisted on offering one of the two drinks, just for the 15 minute wait. It is quite rare to find such friendly and caring staff, will go back for sure!

Blessings is a staple for many of my old work colleagues who work on Fashion St. It's a lovely small and independent wine bar with great staff who'll make you feel welcome. They make a mean Aperol Spritz which is a tad expensive but it's largely worth it, in my humble opinion.

Nice decor with hanging glasses upside down at the bar (see pictures) and a homely, dimly lit vibe (fairly perfect for a first date drink, I'd say).

There's an upstairs area that you can hire that takes about 30 people or so I think. Definitely a place that's worth a lingering drink or three.

a few of us ladies were looking for a bar to have a few cocktails and giggles when we walked past this bar jamming some big boi tunes!

think Montego Bay (Jamaica),Beach, chanel shades on and that itty bitty bikini you've been wanting to wear all year around... ok so you get the imagery.

the vibes here were so relaxed. With bob marley in the speakers and chairs outside where you can people watch and enjoy an old fashioned ... what more could you want in life??!!!

the bartender was thee best!!! I was about to get the most expensive wine there when he let me know that in fact they house wine which was considerably cheaper (£5.50), was much better... I mean what a guy right? and let me tell you. that glass was filled to the brim baby!!

My friend ordered an old fashioned and he offered to use the most expensive whiskey they had there. so yh .. great staff, great vibes and the menu which I didnt get to sample sadly looked amazing.

I will be back!!
