Lost Angel

We were a rowdy group of 5 girls, celebrating 3 40th birthdays on Friday 17th May 2013. We were extremely well looked after by Oliver & Christian, who catered for our every demand...and there were a few, with a smile on their face the whole time. The food was amazing, we all had steaks, cooked to perfection and exactly how we'd requested them. The choice of sauces was fantastic, a real added bonus to a fine piece of steak, well worth the money. Cocktail happy 3 hours, not to be missed, the ginger shrub spiced citrus was delicious. The atmosphere in the bar after dinner was friendly, relaxed and thankfully lacked the pretentiousness of most other Battersea Bars, everyone was chatting and dancing with everyone. A great night had by all, will definitely be recommending Lost Angel and we are all making plans to come back. (Oliver, we're sorry we nearly gave you a nervous breakdown) x

I happened to go to this pub twice in two weeks and had two completely different experiences (both excellent!) First time was on a Saturday night. We arrived at about 5pm and settled into the bar as it got more and more packed and steadily louder! It was a cracking evening - there was table service and lots of lovely cocktails, brilliant atmosphere and good music (at one point Pink Floyd!). The decor is really interesting too - gothic, shabby chic and eclectic. The next week I came here with a different set of friends after going to the Affordable Art Fair (brilliant by the way!) It was a Wednesday evening, about 7.30pm and the pub was really quiet. We were able to walk in and get a table in the restaurant (there was no hope on the Saturday!) So we sat down and tried their food properly this time. OH MY GOD! If you like your red meat, this is place for you. My three friends had various steaks and I had the venison. It was all absolutely delicious. The best thing is that you get three (yes, THREE!) sauces with your steak and there's a huge list to choose from. I only got one (perfectly relevant) sauce with the venison, so I dipped into the others, and we voted the walnut and truffle sauce (not creamy, yey!) the best thing we had ever tried, ever!
