Ostuni says
Ostuni restaurant is London’s first eatery dedicated to the cuisine and wines of Puglia, the heel of Italy. Our restaurant boats a large space created with the traditional materials used to build the trulli of Puglia. This region of Italy represents what Italian food is all about: simplicity and flavour.

It’s one of those places you are happy to have as your local. It’s charming and cozy and bustling on a weekend night. When we walked in for dinner on a Friday night the place was fully booked and they were short on stuff due to a waitress having fallen sick last moment. Yet we never felt this. We were offered the two very last seats by the bar and the service was brisk enough for us not to notice that they are being short on stuff (they were very apologetic about it too!), and the food definitely made up for whatever hick-ups there were. It’s regional Italian. We went for small plates, and those were not small at all (2 per person worked just perfect for us). They have a good selection of charcuterie, small and large plates, and all the typical Italian drinks you might fancy (from very decent house wine all the way to Aperol Spritz and Rossini). They also have a terrace with heaters, which was warm enough for families with kids to dine outside on a chilly December night. Planning to come back very soon (their salt-crusted whole fish looked amazing and we saw quite many tables ordering that for the table).

I would seriously move to this area, just so I could call this restaurant my local italian!!
Really impressed with food, not only good deal for the price, but food is just worth it. It is very true to proper italian food, it's comforting, hearty...Actually now I am hungry. Staff is italian, which is an added bonus!
Ci ritorno sicuramente!

Terrible! Do not go here. It looks lovely outside but the food is expensive and not good. Save your money. Go elsewhere. Several locals, I know, feel the same way. Trust us.

No-nonsense, properregional Italian cooking, with not a pizza in sight! Authentic, well-sourced Puglian products, not over-elaborated, just presented at their best, means that unlike so many Italian restaurants, you don't end up thinking you could have cooked just as well at home. Bravo!
