Cask has been blazing a beer trail for years, since way before your old local had its own craft beer list. It’s not much to look at – an awkward shape at the bottom of a newbuild block – but the real attraction is in the fridges and cellar. They’re filled with an almost absurdly generous range of the finest brews from London, Britain and beyond, with something to satisfy the most ardent hophead or convert the most nervous lager-drinker. Staff really know their stuff – ask for a recommendation and you won’t be disappointed.

Yes and yes. This bar has been an oasis in the somewhat lackluster pubs of Pimlico (although that being said there is quite a resurgence in the last few years!). I call it 'The Rake of the West'. Amazing tipple selection of beer from both local and abroad. And don't worry, they will let you know if you are paying £8 for a half BEFORE they open/pour it. Don't let that put you off-- they have a range to fit all budgets and tastes. Unsure? Just ask-- their staff is very friendly.
We have had the run of the mill cheeseburger here and were quite pleased with them. The parmesan & truffle fries were especially delicious. If its nice definitely try and snag a table outside and soak up the rare England sun :)
