There's a party feel to this Smithfield spot - it's a reliable haunt for the after work crowd and there's live jazz every Tuesday, too. Comedy nights courtesy of Comedy Knights take place every Wednesday.

The drinks list looks like it should aid the atmosphere too, with classic cocktails such as caipirinhas, salted negronis and espresso martinis on offer. A varied wine list concentrates on the old world and the beer selection looks solid - Camden Hells, Brixton Brewery's Effra Ale, Brooklyn Lager, Kernel's Export Stout, Stevens Point IPA and Bethnal Pale Ale from the Redchurch Brewery in Bethnal Green are just some of the offer.

The food menu ranges from small plates and snacks (buffalo wings, chilli dogs, French dip sandwiches and nachos) to pulled pork baps, racks of ribs and a house burger with cheese and crispy bacon. Expect chocolate brownie with chantilly cream for dessert.
