  • Great atmosphere, the staff were very knowledgeable and took great care with making our cocktails. We even got table service! I will be coming here again !

  • Went to a colleagues leaving party here after work last week, he had reserved the small room at the back. I enjoy cocktails a lot and am pleased to say that I can add this place to my relatively short list of bars that can mix a good drink and are also a pleasant place to be! 10 meters on foot from upper street but a whole world away from the normal high street dirge - Highly recommended

  • A really sweet place, I really had a good experience. Cocktails are amazing and the atmosphere is really nice. Really entertaining watching the bartenders making drinks. Highly recommended since when they re opened few months ago.

  • I walk past The Four Sisters a lot and as they have been closed for the last few weeks for refurbishment i was keen to see what the new owners (according to the sign in the window) had done to the place. In reality the interior of the bar hasn't changed dramatically, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It looks like they have given it a lick of paint and bought some new furniture but overall i like it. It was clean and warm with lots of candle light and it felt like a nice place to be. In terms of the drinks i was really pleased! I am happy to drink cocktails and they have an amazing lists of around 40 classics, champagne and signature cocktails on big black boards above the bar. I had an Old Fashioned and a Singapore Sling - Not very adventurous on my part i know but they were done very well. My two colleagues however were more than happy to see bottles of ale in the fridge and some decent beer on tap, so all in all everyone was well catered for. Well done The Four Sisters, we shall see you again!

  • Lovely and quaint place. The staff were lovely and attentive, they knew exactly what they were doing, even when I asked for 'something nice and bitter', the guy just rustle up a lemon and cucumber martini for me. After that I had the best cocktail I have personally ever had, the Four Sisters Breakfast Martini, great if you like grapefruit. It was fresh, you could taste the alcohol (which is why I carried on drinking regardless and became quite pickled. My friends had cassa del passa which itself was a fantastic cocktail. Only critisim is they didn't have bar snack when we went, but other than that. A great find and the cocktails were reasonable. For example you can get an awful cocktail at other bars (I won't name) in islington for the same price as a great cocktail here! A no brainier!!

  • My sister and I, unfortunately, decided to have our 30th birthday party at this bar. I went in twice to talk to the manager about arrangements for it and everything seemed to be organised. On the day we (and around 40 of our friends) turned up to find the bar closed. Door locked, lights off, chairs on tables. I left a message for the owner on his answer machine and no one returned my call - nor have they since. So, it's safe to say I wouldn't recommend this bar!

  • Really love this bar, the cocktails are great, i had one with elderflower and strawberries and it was awesome. Then the barman offered to make me a concoction of his own, which was equally good, something again with strawberries. Looking forward to the next visit to try out a few other things. The place is a little run down in areas and the toilets are a bit messy, but most bars this size seem to be, these days, in London!

  • I really like this bar. Have been there the twice in the last two weeks and the staff are friendly, approachable and talkative. I wouldn't say I'm a regular but am soon going to become one. I don't drink cocktails so can't comment on those but they have a good range of beers and spirits for a small bar. It is intimate, understated and not trying to be something it's not - like a lot of the bars in the area. Only small criticism (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) is the place would benefit with a DJ and a space for people to dance - it would attract more people who go elsewhere for a boogie (yep, totally just said boogie). Definitely recommended.

  • As per the previous 2 reviews, my experience was unfortunately not a happy one. Ambience seems a little forced once inside, and good service was clearly reserved for the few regulars (observed to be chatting with all the staff during the evening). For us plebs the services was ok but the drinks were terrible. Also not sure what this bar is touting itself as - intimate venue, cocktail bar, club?? Music is eclectic (and I don't mean that in a good way). Crowd was sparse this time around, but a friend of mine who has been there previously said she was not going back after being surrounded by complete drunks who were apparently regulars at this bar.

  • Appalingly bad cocktails and very badly organised. My first drink since reopening as the Four Sisters was far too acidic and lacked alcohol and the cosmopolitan I ordered was first made with gin and then when it was finally made with vodka, tasted quite unpleasant - weak and insipid and totally unlike any cosmo' I've ever had before. A friend ordered a white wine only to be told there was none and then when he ordered a margarita was told there was no tequila. This prompted the barman to send a shady looking character who'd been hanging about to go out and buy some - not exactly inspiring confidence. Won't be going back there..!
