This is easily one of the best pubs in London! It has really friendly staff, some delicious ales and a cloudy cider. It sells Pieminster pies, the tastiest pies in London! It has amazing live music 3 times a week including a jazz / honkytonk night on a Wednesday (in house piano), and folk on a Sunday. It's cosy and full of friendly punters. This is Borough's best kept secret!

Found this pub after a search on the internet and it certainly exceeded expectations! The staff are really friendly with good drinks recommendations, the decor is quirky, they have a fine selection of beers and the roof garden is cosy. That would be enough to make this one of the best pubs I've been to in London, but they also serve the best pies in the world (Pieminster_ check out the venison for a real treat) and they have live folk/blues/honkytonk 3 days a week (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday).

Fantastic pub, great ales, great music and lovely pies. Staff are friendly. You pretty much turn up here and have a different experience each time, depending who's playing, in which room and who else is there. I wish it was my actual local!
