Venue says: "Megaro Bar is not a speakeasy, it's just really hard to find. Now open until 2am on Thursday and Friday nights."
Kings Cross and St Pancras

Founded in 2013, Megaro is a stylish, moodily lit bar in the boutique Megaro Hotel, close to King's Cross. Its cocktail list is highly unusual, both in inventiveness and in the names of the drinks, many of them containing references to books, the cinema or television.

That means you can part your lips for a 'fruity Mr Gosling' should that tickle your fancy - it's a mix of Gosling's Black Seal rum, peach, liquorice and orange. However, it's not all about the cocktails. There are wines from France, Italy and Portugal and bottles of Brooklyn Lager, Kernel Pale Ale and Dunkerton's Cider.

And if you're hungry? There's Karpo - a neighbourhood brasserie at the same address.

Megaro Bar says
Megaro Bar presents a unique blend of original cocktails, spirits, wines and beers from around the globe, all served in a decadent, timeless setting.

The menu, much like the vintage theatre programme it emulates, divides itself into acts, inviting you into a journey packed with plot twists, character development and the odd sound effect.

Make yourself comfortable, be wowed, be transfixed and enjoy the show.
