BAD FOOD! Don't go here for the food! The worst most tasteless calamares I have ever had. Absolutely no seasoning on them.  Tasteless. Served with some tasteless mayonnaise.  Then the sauteed mushrooms in fino sauce - again no seasoning. Just sweet and creamy, more like a dessert.  And no salt and pepper on the tables to add your own seasoning.  This put me in a very bad mood!  I have had many delicious tapas in Barcelona and this doesn't come anywhere close. It is an insult to Spanish cuisine.  I don't know about you but as a foodie, it really annoys me when there is no care taken with food. A very dissatisfying meal.

Really like the setting and would happily have a drink in here but will never eat here again.  There are far far better tapas restaurants in London than this.

Brixton village market is always buzzing at the weekends and Seven is in the centre of it all. Seven offers tasty tapas with a vibrant party atmosphere. There is a great selection of affordable and tasty tapas and a fantastic twist on all your favourite cocktails. My favourite is the Mojito which has squeezed lime and a dash of ginger beer mixed in, delicious. One of my favourite Weekend spots to have some light bites and tasty drinks with friends.

Pretentious and disappointing. Will not return. Staff attitude needs to be addressed.

Went to Seven last night for something to eat and a couple of drinks. Was a little worried that we wouldn't get a table at first as both upstairs and downstairs were rammed, but a space eventually opened up after not too long. This place is all about cocktails and tapas and I have to say I think it does both very, very well. The cocktails are well made, and aren't just the usual boring selection, but ones with a little thought and curiosity about them. The tapas was delicious (although their manchego was a little bland) and there was plenty of it. I've eaten in a couple of better known tapas restaurants recently and thought the food here put them both to shame. Good atmosphere here too, and a final really important point for me was that there were plenty of staff around. Cocktail bars are often woefully understaffed given how long it usually takes to make a cocktail, but the guys and girls here were very attentive, if a little hard to spot given their casual dress.

Love this cocktail bar. Best value cocktails in Brixton by far - the cocktail menu seems to change from time to time but my favourite currently is the Hauté Toddy warming amaretto based drink that comes with a mini-caramel waffle. Patatas Bravas are delicious too.

Headed over to Seven at Brixton last night. The rest of the market was closed but they were open with a handful of others. Our friends recommended it to us but the word "market" made us slightly apprehensive...however we really really enjoyed it. The Cucumber and elderflower martini was our favourite and the Spanish tortilla was very authentic!! Will definitely go back soon!

Nice enough place, but avoid the pinchos- saw countless flies land on them during our visit! Ginger beer mojito however was really good. If going to eat, order off the menu

Booked an area on the weekend, enjoyed the food, great variation of drinks, good atmosphere and music. Will be back!

Went to Seven on Saturday night with 3 friends for the first time. food and drink scene. However, we were not that impressed with the cocktails or the service. By the time we had arrived at 9:30pm they had run out of crushed ice so they were unable to do a number of the already limited cocktails on offer. The cocktail I had Tabasco Margarita was nice but there was more ice than liquid content. My friend ordered a glass of sangria which tasted like watered down cheap wine. It had no distinguishing flavour and a piece of orange that had seen better days. When we informed the waitress that it really wasn't a good drink she took it away, and never returned to either offer us another or ask us what we wanted to do instead. At the end of the night when we asked for the bill another waitress asked us what exactly was wrong with the sangria and told us that her Manager had tried it and thought it was ok. We explained that we had all sampled it and disagreed, but that it was a matter of opinion. She then went on to pedantically inform us what was in a sangria and that she had tasted lots of it in Spain and that it tasted as good or better. We replied that we knew what the ingredients were and that we had also all sampled Sangria in Spain! So, nice place but the attitude needs to be addressed

Had a fantastic night in Seven at Brixton recently. It is a nice place to go with friends for a casual drink or two! Good food, amazing cocktails and a fantastic atmosphere aided by the friendly staff. I would recommend it and will definately be going there again.
