Avoid this pub at all costs. Not only are the service very bad, but the sound engineer is extremely rude. We came to see a band play there last night and without warning the sound engineer decided to cancel the gig despite there being people wanting to come in. Totally ruined our night!!

This central London club at the Comedy Pub always features impressive line-ups mixing circuit stalwarts with talented rising stars. With three to five shows a week, and tickets at £10 max in advance, it's very good value indeed. Check 'dates and times'...Stand-up Friday July 31 2015 - Sunday November 1 2015Read more

The Comedy Pub is a great venue for gigs, my band and I have previously played there and I like the atmosphere a lot. It's also relatively cheap if you want to ask friends to come support you, entrance is £6 or £5 if attendees can name what band they are coming to support on the door or ideally bring a flyer of some kind.
This Friday 27th June, there is an event hosted by Dead or Alive, and bands playing are:
THE FOLLYLUZ AND LA EXPLOSION SUDACA
BUFFALO FISH (great name)
Booked this as a cheap alternative to some comedy in central london and couldn't have been happier with the outcome! The staff were polite and helpful and the acts were fantastic! Luckily sitting the in the back alcove we were immune to the comedian's selection but still got a great view of the show. The bar in the show area is a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from it's location. With a great MC and good acts you really cannot ask for more for your £10 ticket! Definitely recommended giving it a go, although you can never be sure with a changing line up, i think it's worth the risk.
We went to the Comedy Pub for the first time last night and had a cracking evening...lovely atmosphere
