The Comedy Pub is a great venue for gigs, my band and I have previously played there and I like the atmosphere a lot.  It's also relatively cheap if you want to ask friends to come support you, entrance is £6 or £5 if attendees can name what band they are coming to support on the door or ideally bring a flyer of some kind.

This Friday 27th June, there is an event hosted by Dead or Alive, and bands playing are:

BUFFALO FISH (great name)

Booked this as a cheap alternative to some comedy in central london and couldn't have been happier with the outcome! The staff were polite and helpful and the acts were fantastic! Luckily sitting the in the back alcove we were immune to the comedian's selection but still got a great view of the show. The bar in the show area is a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from it's location. With a great MC and good acts you really cannot ask for more for your £10 ticket! Definitely recommended giving it a go, although you can never be sure with a changing line up, i think it's worth the risk.

We went to the Comedy Pub for the first time last night and had a cracking evening...lovely atmosphere
