Been my local for years and still loving coming here to meet the regulars and talk to the lovely staff
This was my first visit to the Railway Telegraph, and I was not disappointed. The food is a high standard, with generous portions, great service, at a reasonable price.I can highly recommend the pan fried fillet of salmon, delicate subtle flavours, just cooked to perfection.
Will be returning soon!
Consistently high standard of above-average pub food in large and pleasant surroundings. New menu has some absolute stunners on it - the venison main definitely has the "wow" factor.
Warm welcome, friendly and efficient staff, lovely atmosphere and GREAT food . All the usual pub favourites - but very well done, alongside some hidden gems. Carpaccio of beef with an English twist of a whipped Stilton cream, a fabulously theatrical smoked venison dish and succulent pork belly with crispy crackling worth crossing town for (or at least the south circular!) if you're looking for something a little unexpected in a traditional setting give this neighbourhood pub a try.
