If you like your cocktails with a side of fun then go to The Toy Shop in Putney. As the name suggests, they have a drinks menu that will take you back to your childhood with the added bonus of alcohol.

They have two for one (of the same cocktail) from Sunday to Friday 5pm til 8pm, with most cocktails around the £8.50 mark. As with any self-respecting cocktail bar in London many of the drinks come in a quirky vessel and some even have an edible lego man swimming at the brim. What more could you want? A lego mug? You're in luck, there's one of those too. And you get to keep the mug!!

During the week it's pleasantly busy, but be prepared to wait a little longer for your drinks at the weekends. The Toy Shop also has a heated roof terrace, which I've only taken a peek at, that seems popular with smokers.

So if you're in Putney this is a great place to frequent for happy "hour". I hear they do beer and wine too.

This is a fun place on the Putney High St with fun cockails. We got the robot- it is actually a boozy batch that you can drink from a straw out of the head of a robot! Who doesn't like a bit of fun?

Putney has some brilliant cocktails bars along their main high street, and this is one of the best. A fun and friendly vive, full of twenty-somethings enjoying a mid-week drink or celebrating the weekend. Happy hour on Fridays of two cocktails for £8 is a bargain. The drinks themselves are good, though style does slightly trump substance- they look incredible and taste good, but aren't among the best I've had in London. However, they come with free bowls of salted popcorn, and have such fun concepts (served in milk bottles/ chocolate gingerbread men/ marshmallow) that this is easily overlooked and the drinks enjoyed.

Best bar in Putney by a long shot, amazing cocktails, very friendly staff, great music and a lovely atmosphere all round. Well worth a visit!

Always a great atmosphere. Has livened up the high street massively over the last couple of years!

Had a meal at The Toy Shop with my folks last week. Food was A1- not a huge wine list but cocktails were superb. Defo going back for Dinner in Jan

We went out for birthday drinks, the cocktails were good although no individual stand out drinks. The rocket £50 for 4 of us was great though although the long straws were really impractical for drinking out of as we had to stand up to get a sip! The staff were really good natured and there was a good atmosphere although there was nothing remarkable about it. However it was fun to be in an grown ups toy shop for the night!
