  • Here’s a pub that slots nicely into what you think a Twickenham boozer ought to be: a little bit rugby, a little bit river, a little bit rock and roll. Well, not really much rock and roll, more ‘the Spinners at Christmas’. The Eel does everything well: beer is supplied by the multi-award- winning Badger Brewery from Dorset, with Best at £2.50 a pint and the much-respected Tanglefoot at £2.75. In the summer this pretty street is closed to traffic from Friday evening to Monday morning, so you can enjoy this pub
    from the outside as well as the inside.
