As the painstakingly conceived sections of its encyclopedic drinks menu suggest, LAB is streets ahead, high and mighty, as well as being short and sexy. Certainly small and sexy, its two-floor space is invariably packed with Sohoites fuelled by London's freshest mixologists. Straight out of LAB (London Academy of Bartending) school, graduates are aided by colleagues of considerable global experience, and can fix some 30 original concoctions (most around £7) or 50 classics, using high-end spirits and fresh ingredients. A contemporary retro decorative and aural backdrop does the rest. A Sri Thai menu (royal Thai platter for two, £13.95) is offered by the restaurant next door.

This is definitely the BEST cocktail bar in London -- a must-do in London.
friendly service and the drink are amazing!!! I'd like to go there spend more time
Pros: very reasonably priced for such amazing drinks (I had one that tasted EXACTLY like the solero icecream!)
Cons: cramped when busy, and you can end up waiting quite a while to get served at the bar if its a busy night. But the drinks are definitely worth the wait!
