A true community pub with a cricket team, weekly quiz night and a dizzying respect for real ale, it makes sense then that the Priory Arms should feel less like a pub and more like a club house. The bar itself is lined with the hundreds of labels provided by the guest ales it's hosted over the years, and remains heaving with Harveys, Adnams and two guests on the pumps, a vast selection of Belgian fruit beers and 16 country fruit wines, ranging from parsnip to dandelion. The gastro and Thai dishes are wolfed down by a packed house on any day of the week. A select drinker's heaven.
